At our locations, over 3,000 dedicated professionals, including 900 nurses and 290 medical specialists across 26 medical disciplines, work tirelessly to provide exceptional care. We’re also fortunate to have the support of over 300 volunteers. Our Ophthalmology Department, spanning in the province of North Holland, is home to seven ophthalmologists who practice a comprehensive range of services, with particular focus on cataract and strabismus surgery, eyelid surgery, medical retina, and paediatric ophthalmology. We also collaborate with the A-UMC to provide B-training for ophthalmologists, boasting state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
As our enthusiastic and ambitious colleague, you’ll practice ophthalmology comprehensively in the province of North Holland. Supported by a team including optometrists, TOAs, PAs, interns, and two Residents, you’ll contribute eagerly to Residents’ educational tasks and pursue personal growth opportunities in alignment with your surgical, non-surgical, or medical management ambitions.

You have completed your ophthalmology studies
